First Visit:

First visits typically take an hour to an hour and a half. However, more time may be required if your condition is complicated. During your first visit, Dr. McCorkle will gather information about your health history, current condition, and health concerns to decide if chiropractic treatment is appropriate for your situation.

Dr. McCorkle will work with you to determine if and how chiropractic treatment can help you. If chiropractic treatment is appropriate for your situation, Dr. McCorkle will explain your condition(s), if any, and how chiropractic can help. You will then have the option to pursue or opt out of chiropractic care and treatment. If you decide to pursue chiropractic treatment, Dr. McCorkle will treat you before she leaves your location the same day.

If your situation is not compatible with chiropractic care or if you have conditions which warrant further investigation from another medical professional, Dr. McCorkle will let you know and  refer you to the proper professionals. Understanding the need for integrative medicine and how different medical professionals play a role in health and recovery, Dr. McCorkle will help you identify the types of care you need.

Follow-up Visits:

After the initial visit, the time required for Dr. McCorkle to evaluate and treat you will be significantly shorter and dictated by  your treatment plan. Dr. McCorkle will let you know how long she estimates your treatment will take so you can schedule appointments appropriately.
